From cover to cover we filled every page with motivational anecdotes, advice, and personal stories that we hope will make you feel seen and heard, at the very least understood.
With life being so hard on us all I can only imagine, [if anyone still watches the news] how everyone is feeling jaded and eager to get on with life as we know it. Spotlight magazine team went out and sourced, Thought Leadership 101 on the Cover by Eronica Aljoe who shares a valuable insight on ‘keeping it together’ in business despite all the minefield of challenges we all face everyday entrepreneurs.

We delve deeper with Dr. Samantha Ruth, A Grieving Counsellor and Psychologist who shared her own story with our readers. Touching upon the stigmas of grief counselling to the isolation grief brings to one life and how it should not be the case. This issue also first featured Part 1 of the 50 Over 50 Challenging the status quo as fashionably late entrepreneurs. Plus a report of what 995 Million people in a survey said about Covid-19.

To reflect Cupid's direct orders declaring February as a month of LOVE! We turned the tables to focus on receiving 'Self-Love' and not the default of giving it out that is often encouraged by Valentine marketing. Befittingly so: gracing the cover of this issue was yours truly, moi [Jennifer Nash] as Editor-In-Chief, I was also born on Feb 16! Naturally as a Change Advocate and Social Justice Activist, I shared my thoughts on DE&! trends - that should be rather be our way of life already by now!
Thanks to your our amazing readers, Contributing Expert Writers and editorial team; Spotlight Magazine's caterpillar to butterfly journey has been empowering, exciting and challenging. Now at the end of year 2, we have grown our wings and are souring high. We've gone from trial and error (and we are still trying) to perfecting the art of conversation to becoming a collective voice for female entrepreneurs globally.
